Elle King has been overjoyed since learning she is having a child with her fiancé, Dan Tooker, earlier this year. The singer-songwriter, who was in her second trimester at the time, originally announced her pregnancy to the world in the March issue of People, while also detailing her protracted struggle to conceive.
“This is not just something I’ve wanted since I can remember, but it’s also something I’ve struggled with for a long time,” King added. “Each day of this pregnancy has been such a blessing.”
Elle King Tragically Suffered from Infertility
The 32-year-old artist has previously struggled with infertility, according to the publication. She had already lost two pregnancies due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal imbalance caused by the illness. King answered it by stating that pregnancy loss due to PCOS is a common occurrence for many women. “But it’s so private,” she continued, “as if you have to go through it alone.”
She claimed that discussing such topics had become taboo. As a result, the person dealing with it felt humiliated. I’ve been through loss, and going through the heartache of losing two pregnancies makes you feel like your life is gone. You have to go through this grueling, emotionally exhausting, and upsetting grieving process. You’re starting to feel like a failure.
King, who is now on her third pregnancy, boldly told her parents, siblings, and close friends about her plight. If she faces the same fate as before, she said she will need her “support squad.”
King’s Current Miracle Pregnancy
Earlier this month, King, who is in the ninth month of her pregnancy, tested positive for COVID-19. She informed her Instagram followers of the news. She posted on August 5 that she had been instructed to stay at home until her due date in order to protect her baby’s health.
She also stated in her caption that she will see everyone following the birth of her child. “Take it easy on yourself, sister. I wish you a speedy recovery “Erika Wennerstrom, a singer, made a comment.
Chris Stapleton, a member of her band, wrote, “Elle, take care of yourself! We already miss you and can’t wait to see you again.” On July 14, the singer added a photo of herself and her baby bulge, saying that she was 8 months pregnant. She stood behind her quad bike and dog in the black and white photograph, with a small wooden cabin and forest in the background.
It’s no wonder that everyone is looking forward to her due date, which is coming up soon. We wish her a speedy recovery and congratulate her on her impending family addition.
Elle King Weight Loss Struggles
The California-born singer had discussed her inability to lose weight in a prior interview. It was the same PCOS that affected her weight and caused irregular cycles, she claimed. King went on to say that she has battled weight gain her entire life. The drug worked when she saw a fertility expert in Albuquerque, and she eventually became pregnant through natural ovulation.
She added that now that life was being produced inside her body, she no longer had negative thoughts about herself and that she felt her body was lovely and healthy.
